Blast Furnace Worker

A blast furnace worker is responsible for operating and maintaining the blast furnace, which is used to melt iron ore and produce molten iron. This position requires physical strength and stamina, as well as the ability to work in hot and dangerous environments. The ideal candidate will have experience working in steel production or a similar industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and adjust blast furnace equipment to ensure efficient operation
- Load materials into the furnace and regulate temperature and pressure levels
- Perform maintenance tasks on equipment, such as replacing worn parts or cleaning debris
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in steel production or a related industry preferred
- Physically fit and able to work in hot, physically demanding conditions
- Knowledge of basic mechanical principles and ability to use hand tools
- Ability to work well in a team environment
