Merchandiser - Mecca, Saudi Arabia

Our company is seeking a skilled and motivated Merchandiser to join our team in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing effective merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability. This position is open to Indian nationals who are fluent in English and have no prior experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify current consumer trends and preferences
- Develop merchandising plans and strategies based on market trends and company objectives
- Collaborate with suppliers to source products that align with company standards
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust orders as needed to meet customer demand
- Create attractive product displays that showcase merchandise effectively
- Train sales staff on product features, benefits, and selling techniques
- Monitor sales performance and make adjustments to merchandising plans as needed
- Keep up-to-date on industry developments, competitor activities, and market trends

Requirements:
- Indian nationality with fluency in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred but not required)
- No prior experience in merchandising required; training will be provided
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
