Truck Driver

A reputable transportation company in Ajman is seeking a highly skilled and experienced truck driver to join our team. As a truck driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across designated routes while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. This position requires a valid commercial driver's license, excellent driving record, and physical stamina to handle long hours on the road.

Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial trucks to deliver goods to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and cargo for safe transport
- Plan routes and communicate with dispatchers regarding any changes or delays
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic laws
- Maintain accurate logs of driving activities, including rest breaks and fuel consumption
- Report any vehicle or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a truck driver
- Clean driving record with no accidents or traffic violations in the past 5 years
- Physical ability to load and unload cargo as needed
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight delivery deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Familiarity with GPS systems and electronic logging devices is preferred
