Team Lead - Customer Service (Indian Nationals Preferred)
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead to join our customer service team in Washington. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of customer service representatives. You will oversee daily operations, handle escalations, and ensure that all customer inquiries and issues are handled promptly and efficiently. Your main goal will be to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction while meeting company targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of customer service representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback to improve overall efficiency
- Ensure that all customer inquiries are handled in a timely and professional manner
- Handle escalated customer issues with empathy, finding solutions to resolve them effectively
- Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience
- Act as a point of contact for complex or VIP customers
- Prepare reports on team performance, including KPIs such as response time, resolution rate, etc.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, share best practices, and foster teamwork
Requirements:
- Indian national preferred; proficiency in English is required
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within the customer service industry
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with empathy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of CRM systems; experience with Salesforce is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed (including weekends)
