Indian Pastry Chef in Malindi
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Indian Pastry Chef to join our team in Malindi. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of delicious Indian desserts and pastries, while ensuring high levels of quality and presentation. Your main duties will include mixing and baking ingredients, decorating pastries, managing inventory, training junior pastry chefs, and collaborating with the kitchen team to create new menu items.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef in an Indian restaurant or bakery
- In-depth knowledge of traditional Indian desserts and pastries
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
- Strong creativity and attention to detail for unique presentation
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with a team
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Swahili is a plus)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
