Residential Painter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Residential Painter to join our team in Vianden. As a Residential Painter, you will be responsible for painting interior and exterior surfaces of residential buildings, ensuring a high-quality finish and meeting client specifications. You will also be expected to prepare surfaces for painting, choose appropriate materials and equipment, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in residential painting, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, filling holes, and applying primer
- Choose appropriate paints and materials based on surface type and client preferences
- Safely operate tools and equipment such as brushes, rollers, sprayers, ladders, scaffolding, etc.
- Apply paint evenly and smoothly to achieve desired finish
- Follow client specifications and requests for color schemes and patterns
- Maintain clean work area and protect furniture/fixtures from paint
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Touch up any areas that may need additional coats or corrections
- Communicate with clients to address any concerns or changes in project scope
- Adhere to safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in residential painting
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality results within specified timeframes
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong knowledge of different types of paints and their applications
- Familiarity with various painting techniques
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Own transportation preferred
