Facade Technician
As a Facade Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining the exterior facades of buildings. This includes working with various materials such as glass, metal, and stone to create visually appealing and functional facades. Your main duties will include inspecting and assessing the condition of existing facades, identifying any necessary repairs or replacements, and carrying out the necessary work to ensure the safety and integrity of the building's exterior. You may also be responsible for constructing new facades on buildings under construction. This role requires attention to detail, physical strength, and the ability to work at heights. You will work closely with other tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers to complete projects on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facade installation or construction
- Knowledge of different facade materials and their properties
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Physically fit with the ability to work at heights
- Good communication skills in English (other languages are a plus)
- Valid driver's license (preferred)
- Experience with scaffolding systems (preferred)
