Welder - Nakuru, Kenya


We are a leading construction company in Nakuru, Kenya and we are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for using specialized equipment to cut, shape, and join metal parts according to specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding method
- Measure and mark workpieces for welding
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding machines
- Monitor equipment for proper functioning and make necessary adjustments
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder
- Knowledge of different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick)
- Ability to read technical documents and blueprints
- Good understanding of metallurgy principles
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials
- Attention to detail with good hand-eye coordination

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month.

We provide accommodation for our employees near our construction site.
