English-Speaking Librarian in Sheduva


We are seeking a qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team at the Sheduva Public Library. As an English-speaking librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the library's collection of books, periodicals, audio-visual materials, and other resources. You will also assist library patrons with reference questions and research inquiries. This position requires a strong understanding of library systems and procedures, as well as excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection by selecting, ordering, cataloging, and shelving materials
- Assist patrons with reference questions and research inquiries in person or via email or phone
- Develop and implement programs to promote literacy and reading within the community
- Maintain accurate records of library transactions and use of materials
- Stay updated on current trends in literature and technology to provide recommendations to patrons
- Train new staff members on library procedures and systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a library setting
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of library systems, cataloging, and reference resources
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other staff members
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

This is an urgent position for someone who already has their own visa for working in Sheduva. We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this full-time position.
