Indian Merchandiser in Nakuru


We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Indian Merchandiser to join our team in Nakuru. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating and implementing merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability. Your main duties will include selecting and purchasing products, analyzing market trends, and managing inventory levels. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire merchandising process from product selection to inventory management
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new products or opportunities for growth
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and payment terms
- Develop relationships with vendors and maintain an updated product catalog
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for reorders or markdowns as needed
- Create visual displays that attract customers and promote sales
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies for products
- Analyze sales data to track performance and make informed decisions for future merchandising strategies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Merchandiser or similar role
- Knowledge of retail industry trends and consumer behavior
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Salary:
Salary for this position is 1700$ per month.

This position is based in Nakuru, Kenya.
