Entry Level Metal Worker

We are seeking an Entry Level Metal Worker to join our team in Washington. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for working with various metals and materials to fabricate and assemble metal products such as structures, frames, and machinery. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career in metalworking.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various tools and equipment such as saws, grinders, and welders to cut, shape, and join metal parts
- Read blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal sheets or parts
- Use hand tools to bend, drill, and shape metal pieces
- Assemble components into finished products using welding or fastening techniques
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in metalworking is preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Familiarity with different types of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick)
- Physically capable of standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Washington (preference for local candidates)
