Executive Chef


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury resort in Khasab, Oman. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations and leading a team of chefs to deliver exceptional cuisine and dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Develop creative and innovative menus that incorporate local ingredients and cater to different dietary requirements
- Train, motivate, and lead a team of chefs to ensure high-quality food production and service
- Maintain inventory levels and control costs by ordering supplies, managing waste, and monitoring portion sizes
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to plan special events or promotions
- Continuously evaluate and improve menu offerings based on guest feedback and market trends
- Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques to enhance culinary offerings

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or resort setting
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, menu development, and food cost control
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse team
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations in relation to food handling and sanitation
- Creativity with the ability to develop unique menus that cater to different tastes and dietary needs
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language skills would be an asset)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of 1700$ per month along with other benefits such as accommodation, transportation, medical insurance, annual leave, etc.
