Handyman

A handyman is a versatile and skilled worker who is responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks in residential or commercial buildings. As a handyman, you will be expected to have a wide range of skills including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, painting, and general repair. This position requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems independently.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as fixing leaky faucets, repairing broken appliances, and replacing light bulbs.
- Conduct minor repairs on plumbing systems such as unclogging drains and fixing toilet flushes.
- Complete carpentry tasks such as building shelves, installing doors, and repairing furniture.
- Perform basic electrical work such as changing outlets and light fixtures.
- Paint walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed.
- Inspect buildings for any potential issues or damage and report them to the appropriate parties.
- Keep track of necessary supplies and equipment needed for repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a handyman or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of various repair techniques in areas such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, etc.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Physical stamina to handle prolonged standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
- Attention to detail with strong time management skills.
- Good communication skills in English.

Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract job: This is a contract position with an initial contract period of 6 months. The contract may be extended based on performance.

Biometric passport: A valid biometric passport is required for this role.

Location: Malindi (Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Malindi)
