Librarian in Khasab, Oman



As a librarian in Khasab, Oman, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a library, including collection development, cataloging and classification of materials, and providing reference and information services to patrons. You will also oversee library programs and events, supervise staff and volunteers, and maintain the library's physical space.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented librarian with a passion for promoting literacy and providing access to information. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a library setting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Fluency in English is preferred but not required.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library
- Strong knowledge of library systems and procedures
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluency preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience supervising staff or volunteers is a plus
