Executive Chef - Filipino Cuisine
As an Executive Chef specializing in Filipino cuisine, you will be responsible for managing our kitchen and creating delicious and authentic dishes for our restaurant in Al Ahmadi. Your primary goal will be to ensure the quality and consistency of our food, while also overseeing the kitchen staff and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and authentic Filipino-inspired menus
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain food costs
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards
- Create daily specials based on seasonal ingredients
- Monitor food presentation to ensure it meets company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to provide excellent customer service
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement new techniques or menu items as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef specializing in Filipino cuisine
- Knowledge of traditional Filipino cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent communication skills to effectively work with kitchen staff, front-of-house staff, and management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Must have a valid visa to work in Al Ahmadi without requiring accommodation from the company
Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Al Ahmadi, Kuwait (Preference for Filipino candidates)
