Preservation Architect
As a Preservation Architect in Herzliya, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in the city. Your main goal will be to ensure that these structures are maintained while still adhering to modern building codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings to determine their condition and any necessary preservation/restoration work.
- Develop detailed plans for preservation and restoration projects, including budget and timeline.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Oversee construction teams and contractors to ensure high-quality work is completed on schedule.
- Advise clients on preservation techniques, materials, and options for their historical structures.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in preservation methods.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Preservation Architect or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or relevant field. Master's degree preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of traditional building materials, techniques, and preservation standards.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Herzliya.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluent in English. Knowledge of Hebrew is a plus but not required.
Salary: $1700/month
