We are a publishing company based in Las Vegas, USA looking for a skilled Typesetter to join our team. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and laying out text and images for print and digital publications. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize various software programs to format text and images according to design specifications
- Ensure that all text is properly aligned, sized, and formatted for readability
- Make necessary adjustments to spacing, margins, and line breaks
- Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to produce high-quality publications
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, or other desktop publishing software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors in text and formatting
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Familiarity with printing processes and file preparation for print production is preferred

Salary:
This is a contract position with a starting salary of $1400 per month. Salary may increase based on performance and potential for long-term employment.

Location:
The position is located in Las Vegas, USA. Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate.
