Back-End Developer


We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Back-End Developer to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying our company's website and applications. Your primary focus will be ensuring the responsiveness and efficiency of our systems by collaborating with Front-End Developers, designers, and other team members.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain functional and stable back-end systems using programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
- Collaborate with Front-End Developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle including design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.
- Optimize performance of applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure security of data and systems by implementing data protection measures.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
- Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL) and web servers (e.g. Apache).
- Experience with code versioning tools (e.g. Git) is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
