We are searching for a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team in Bungoma. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious baked goods and desserts for our customers. Your main duties will include preparing doughs, fillings, and batters, baking and decorating pastries, and managing inventory and supplies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and creativity in designing new recipes. Previous experience as a Pastry Chef is preferred, but not required. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to showcase their skills in the culinary industry. Salary for this position is $1000 per month.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker
- Knowledge of various baking techniques and pastry decoration
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity in developing new pastry recipes
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed

Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs, fillings, batters according to recipes or instructions given by the Head Chef
- Bake pastries such as cakes, cookies, pies, etc.
- Decorate pastries using various techniques such as piping, glazing, etc.
- Create new pastry recipes based on customer preferences or seasonal ingredients
- Manage inventory and supplies by ordering necessary ingredients and maintaining stock levels
- Ensure high quality of all baked goods produced
- Follow strict sanitation guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times
- Train and supervise other kitchen staff members
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques
