Head Pastry Chef
As a Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the pastry section of our high-end restaurant in Beer-Sheva, ensuring the creation and delivery of exceptional desserts and pastries. Your creative flair and passion for pastry will be reflected in every dish, creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques and methods
- Ability to lead and supervise a team of pastry chefs and assistants
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely delivery of pastry orders
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with other kitchen staff and management
- A strong portfolio showcasing your past creations is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Create and develop new dessert menu items that are visually appealing and innovative
- Oversee the preparation, baking, plating, and presentation of all pastries
- Manage inventory and order ingredients as needed while maintaining budget guidelines
- Train, mentor, and supervise all pastry staff
- Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to in the pastry section
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the entire kitchen
Salary: $1000 per month
