Junior Android Developer


We are hiring a Junior Android Developer to join our growing team in Dickirch, Luxembourg. As a Junior Android Developer, you will assist in the development and maintenance of our Android applications. You will work closely with other developers and designers to create user-friendly and efficient mobile experiences.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain mobile applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and fix bugs and performance issues
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and standards related to mobile app development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language
- Familiarity with Android SDK, API's, third-party libraries, and tools
- Experience working with remote data via RESTful APIs
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Kotlin programming language
- Knowledge of design patterns such as MVVM or MVP
- Familiarity with Git version control
- Understanding of UI/UX principles
- Passion for learning new technologies

Salary:
1600$ per month
