Preservation Architect


As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in Las Vegas, ensuring they remain structurally sound and maintain their historical integrity. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals to develop preservation plans and oversee their implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine preservation needs
- Develop preservation plans that comply with local, state, and federal regulations
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure preservation plans are executed effectively
- Monitor construction progress to ensure preservation standards are met
- Conduct research on historical materials and construction techniques to inform preservation plans
- Oversee the documentation of historical buildings and structures for archival purposes
- Provide guidance on maintenance and repair of historic buildings to ensure longevity
- Stay updated on current preservation practices and legislation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Historic Preservation
- At least 3 years of experience in the field of historic preservation
- Strong knowledge of historical materials, construction techniques, and preservation standards
- Excellent communication skills for working with clients, contractors, and other professionals
- Attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough assessments and research
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD or Revit

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1300 per month.

This job is located in Las Vegas.
