Chef de Cuisine


We are searching for an experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team at our upscale restaurant in the beautiful city of Albena, Canada. As the head chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, creative dishes that meet our customers' expectations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and a proven track record in leading and managing a team of culinary professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute menus that showcase the best of Canadian cuisine, utilizing fresh, locally sourced ingredients
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to all food safety standards and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Control food costs by managing inventory levels, minimizing waste, and implementing portion control measures
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and special event menus
- Monitor guest feedback and make necessary adjustments to menu items or procedures to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain high levels of quality assurance by performing regular food tastings and inspections

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop kitchen staff
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian cuisine with a focus on seasonal ingredients
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to create innovative and visually appealing dishes while maintaining cost control measures
- Proficient in English; French language skills are considered an asset

Salary: $1000 per week (negotiable based on experience)
