Job Title: JAVA Developer for Biometric Passport Project in Kaunas, Lithuania


We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated JAVA Developer to join our team in Kaunas, Lithuania. As part of our biometric passport project, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend systems that support the secure storage and processing of biometric data for passport applications. This is a full-time position that requires a biometric passport for employment.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement efficient, secure, and scalable backend systems for biometric data storage and processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new features and enhance existing functionality
- Write clean, maintainable code that adheres to coding standards
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure quality and identify any bugs or issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and technologies related to biometric data storage and security

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of professional experience with Java development
- Familiarity with database design and SQL queries
- Experience working on projects involving sensitive data security measures such as biometrics or government systems is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (Lithuanian language skills are a plus)

Salary:
Salary for this position is $900 per month.

Location:
This full-time position is based in Kaunas, Lithuania. We are open to candidates of any nationality who hold a valid biometric passport.
