Long Haul Truck Driver

We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team in Utena, Canada. The ideal candidate will have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and at least 2 years of experience in long haul truck driving. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across long distances, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials over long distances
- Plan routes and schedule deliveries to meet customer requirements
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Monitor temperature-controlled trailers to ensure proper storage of goods
- Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws at all times

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in long haul truck driving
- Clean driving record with no serious violations or accidents
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Basic knowledge of truck maintenance and mechanics
- Physical strength and stamina to handle loading/unloading of goods
- High attention to detail and time-management skills
