Merchandiser for Retail Store in Nizwa, Oman


We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team at our retail store in Nizwa, Oman. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring that our store displays are visually appealing and well-stocked with products. This role requires strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to analyze sales data and make strategic decisions to optimize product placement.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the buying team to select and order products for the store
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to determine which products are selling well and which need to be restocked or removed
- Create visually appealing displays of products in-store, including signage and promotional materials
- Monitor inventory levels and work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
- Train and supervise store staff on proper merchandising techniques
- Conduct regular store walk-throughs to ensure displays are clean, organized, and stocked appropriately
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor strategies to inform merchandising decisions

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in a retail environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make strategic decisions
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and techniques
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic language skills preferred)
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this position.
