Experienced Mechanic in Mombasa (For Foreigners)

As an experienced mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of vehicles, such as cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Your main duties will include diagnosing mechanical issues, performing necessary repairs, and conducting routine maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of the vehicles.

As this position is specifically for foreigners in Mombasa, no English language skills are required. However, fluency in Swahili or other local languages would be beneficial. Accommodation will not be provided by the company.

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a mechanic
- Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical issues and performing repairs
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and servicing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks on vehicles (e.g. oil changes, tire rotations)
- Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment
- Perform necessary repairs on vehicles (e.g. engine repairs, brake replacements)
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary parts when needed
- Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and recommended repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Salary: The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.
