Baker for Indian Bakery in Malindi


We are in search of an experienced Baker with a passion for creating delicious Indian baked goods to join our team in Malindi. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of Indian breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to traditional recipes and our bakery's standards. You will also assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a professional Baker, preferably with knowledge of Indian baking techniques and recipes. They should also have excellent time-management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As our bakery caters to the local Indian community, proficiency in Hindi or another Indian language is preferred but not required.

This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month, plus tips. We also offer accommodation for our employees and can provide visa sponsorship if needed. This role is open to individuals with all levels of experience, including students looking for part-time work.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs for various types of breads, pastries, and other baked goods
- Bake items according to traditional Indian recipes
- Decorate and present finished products
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure the cleanliness of workstations and equipment
- Assist in training new employees if necessary

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a professional Baker
- Knowledge of Indian baking techniques and recipes preferred
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Hindi or another Indian language preferred but not required
