Radio Technician

As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio equipment and systems. This includes troubleshooting technical issues, performing regular maintenance checks, and ensuring proper functioning of all equipment. You will be working with various types of radios including handheld, mobile, and base station radios.

Your main duties will include conducting site surveys to determine the best location for radio equipment installation, programming radios according to specific frequencies and protocols, and testing new equipment before installation. You will also be responsible for keeping accurate records of all maintenance activities, as well as ordering and maintaining an inventory of necessary parts and supplies.

The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and possess strong technical skills in radio technology. A degree or certification in electronics or a related field is preferred. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

This position is based in Nakuru but may require occasional travel to other locations within the country. It is suitable for male candidates who are fluent in English and have Indian nationality. The salary for this position is 1400$ per month without accommodation provided. However, we offer free visa sponsorship and ticket to the selected candidate.
