Database Administrator


As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity and security of our company's databases. You will work closely with the IT team to ensure that databases are properly designed and optimized to meet business needs. Your role will involve monitoring database activity, troubleshooting issues, and implementing changes to improve efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing database structures based on business requirements
- Monitoring database performance and making necessary adjustments to optimize speed and reliability
- Ensuring data security by implementing access controls, backups and disaster recovery plans
- Troubleshooting database issues and performing maintenance tasks such as upgrades or patches
- Collaborating with other IT teams to integrate databases with various applications
- Conducting regular audits to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations accordingly
- Maintaining documentation of all database processes, procedures and configurations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of database management systems (DBMS), SQL, and data warehousing concepts
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and security protocols
- Experience in designing complex databases for high volume applications is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Gujrat, a historic city located in the Punjab province of Pakistan. While we prefer candidates who already have their own visa, we are open to sponsoring visas for exceptional candidates.
