Pastry Chef at a Luxury Hotel in Las Vegas
We are seeking an experienced and talented Pastry Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel in Las Vegas. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing exquisite desserts and pastries for our guests. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills and creativity in a fast-paced, high-end environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods for the hotel's restaurants, banquets, and room service
- Develop new menu items that reflect current trends and incorporate seasonal ingredients
- Manage inventory of pastry supplies and order as needed
- Train and supervise pastry cooks, ensuring high-quality standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen
- Collaborate with other chefs to ensure a cohesive menu across all dining outlets
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Knowledge of different baking techniques and decorating skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Salary: $1300 per month
Location: Las Vegas, USA (open to Nepali candidates)
Language Requirement: Fluent in English (Nepali language skills preferred but not required)
