Loader Operator - Malindi, Kenya


As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment used to load materials onto trucks, trains, or conveyors. Your main duties will include operating the loader safely and efficiently, performing routine maintenance and inspections on the equipment, and following all safety regulations. This position is located in Malindi, Kenya.

Responsibilities:
- Operate the loader in a safe and efficient manner
- Load materials onto trucks, trains, or conveyors according to job specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on the loader to ensure it is in good working condition
- Inspect equipment before each use to identify any potential issues or hazards
- Follow all safety regulations and protocols while operating the loader
- Communicate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Keep accurate records of daily activities and maintenance performed on the equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment, preferably a loader
- Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair procedures for heavy equipment
- Ability to read and understand job specifications and safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly

Preferred:
- Prior experience working as a loader operator in a construction or mining setting
- Knowledge of safety regulations specific to mining or construction sites
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
