Foundry Technician

As a Foundry Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining foundry equipment to produce high-quality metal castings. Your duties will include preparing molds, melting and pouring metal, and monitoring the casting process to ensure proper quality and production standards are met. You will also be responsible for inspecting finished products for defects and making any necessary adjustments to the equipment.

To excel in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as at least 2 years of experience working in a foundry environment. You should have a strong understanding of foundry processes and equipment, as well as the ability to read blueprints and perform basic mathematical calculations. Additionally, you must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.

This position requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently while following safety protocols. Good communication skills are also essential as you will be working closely with other team members to ensure efficient operations.

As our ideal candidate, you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You must also have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the casting process.
