Waiter/Waitress (Indian Cuisine)

We are a busy Indian restaurant located in the heart of Washington, seeking a skilled and experienced Waiter/Waitress to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for Indian cuisine and be able to provide exceptional customer service to our diverse clientele. This is a part-time position with flexible working hours.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take accurate food and drink orders from customers
- Serve food and drinks promptly and accurately
- Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions about the dishes
- Ensure tables are properly set up with necessary utensils, condiments, and napkins
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any issues or concerns
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, floors, and restrooms

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a waiter/waitress in an Indian restaurant setting
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is an asset)
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, including spices, ingredients, and cooking methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing attentive service to customers
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary: $1800 per month plus tips.

Location: Washington City Centre.
