Librarian - Part-time, English-Speaking (Moscow, Russia)


Our library in Moscow is seeking a part-time Librarian who is fluent in English to join our team. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our collection of books and other materials, assisting patrons with research and locating resources, and helping to create a welcoming and educational environment for all visitors.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection of books, magazines, journals, and other materials
- Catalog new materials and ensure that existing materials are properly organized
- Assist patrons with research queries and locating resources
- Provide recommendations for new acquisitions based on patron needs and library budget
- Plan and implement educational programs and events for all age groups
- Maintain the library's online catalog system
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop policies and procedures for the library
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and resources in the field of librarianship

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred
- Fluency in both English and Russian languages required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
