Merchandiser - Retail Coordinator (Washington, D.C.)

Our retail company is seeking a talented and experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Washington, D.C. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing the visual merchandising of our stores in accordance with company standards and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the buying team to plan and execute seasonal product displays and promotions
- Implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability
- Ensure that store layouts and displays are visually appealing and reflect current trends
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper execution of merchandising guidelines
- Train store staff on visual merchandising techniques and product presentation standards
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment or markdowns as needed
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement in product placement and assortment

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Merchandiser or Visual Coordinator in the retail industry
- Strong understanding of fashion trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Creative Suite
- Biometric passport for international travel is required
