Plasterboard Worker - Indian National (Contract, Accommodation Provided)


A reputable construction company in Atlanta is seeking an experienced Plasterboard Worker to join our team. This is a contract position for an Indian national with accommodation provided. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and attention to detail, who is able to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install plasterboard panels on walls and ceilings according to blueprints and specifications
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit around electrical outlets, windows, and corners
- Use hand tools or power tools to secure plasterboard panels in place
- Apply joint compound and tape seams between panels for a smooth finish
- Sand down surfaces and apply additional coats of compound as needed
- Inspect finished walls and make any necessary repairs or touch-ups
- Follow safety procedures at all times while on the job site

Requirements:
- Must be an Indian national with valid work visa
- At least 1 year of experience working as a Plasterboard Worker
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in plastering work
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials as needed
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards at all times

Compensation:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1600 per month. Accommodation will be provided by the company.
