Typesetter - Jerusalem, Israel (Pakistani Nationals Preferred)

We are a publishing company based in Jerusalem and we are seeking an experienced Typesetter to join our team. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and designing various print and digital materials, including books, magazines, and marketing collateral.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize typesetting software to format and design print and digital materials
- Ensure accuracy of text, images, and layout according to project specifications
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure high-quality final products
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficient in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, or Microsoft Publisher
- Strong understanding of typography principles and design concepts
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Experience working with multiple languages or complex layouts is a plus
- Familiarity with Arabic typography is highly desired

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.
