Technical Support Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our growing team in Akron, Ohio. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients and customers. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing system updates and maintenance, and assisting with network connectivity. The ideal candidate will have experience in computer support and a strong understanding of various operating systems and software applications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients and customers via phone, email, or in-person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Perform system updates and maintenance
- Assist with network connectivity issues
- Communicate technical solutions in a clear and concise manner
- Document all support activities in ticketing system
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex technical issues
- Stay current on latest technology trends and advancements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in computer support or related role
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10, 8, 7)
- Familiarity with Mac OS X is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of networking concepts
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Strong problem-solving skills
Salary: $1600 per month
Location: Akron, Ohio (visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates)
