Preservation Architect



We are seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Akron. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and historical societies to ensure that restoration projects are completed according to preservation standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting site visits and assessments of historic buildings and structures
- Developing preservation plans and strategies
- Preparing construction documents and overseeing restoration projects
- Ensuring compliance with historical preservation guidelines and regulations
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, and historical societies
- Conducting research on historical design styles and materials
- Managing project budgets and timelines

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Preservation Architect
- Strong knowledge of historical design styles, materials, and construction techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this position.

Location:
This position is located in Akron but remote work options may be available.

Preference:
Preference will be given to Kenyan candidates for this position.

Other Details:
This is a full-time position without accommodation. Valid visa/permit to work in the US is required. This is an urgent job opportunity so we are looking for candidates who can start immediately.
