Cashier for Retail Store in Ar-Ruwais, UAE


Our retail store in Ar-Ruwais, UAE is seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. This position is suitable for men with or without experience, as we provide on-the-job training. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer transactions, handling cash and credit card payments, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Scan and input items into the cash register accurately
- Accept cash and credit card payments from customers
- Calculate and return change to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries in a professional manner
- Follow all cash handling procedures and security policies
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:
- Must have a valid biometric passport for travel within UAE
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Must be fluent in English (additional languages are an asset)
- Basic math skills with the ability to calculate change accurately
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

Salary:
