Construction Project Manager




The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects in Eldoret, ensuring their timely completion within budget and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, the Construction Project Manager will plan, organize, and coordinate all aspects of the project from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders
- Monitor progress, track expenses, and manage project budget to ensure financial targets are met
- Coordinate with architects and engineers to review design plans and specifications
- Select contractors and subcontractors through bidding process or negotiation
- Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders involved in the project
- Oversee construction work to ensure it meets quality standards and is completed on time
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Manage change orders, delays or other issues that may arise during construction process
- Communicate progress updates regularly with key stakeholders including clients, management team, and other departments

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Construction Project Manager
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, regulations, safety standards
- Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively interact with diverse groups of people
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate team members towards common goals
- Proficient in project management software/tools
