Waiter/Waitress - Indian Cuisine


We are seeking a friendly and experienced Waiter/Waitress to join our team at our Indian restaurant in Al Ahmadi. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Make recommendations and answer any menu-related questions
- Serve food and drinks promptly and accurately
- Check on customers throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Handle any customer complaints or concerns with professionalism
- Process payments through cash or credit card transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables, chairs, menus, etc.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality is a plus
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant setting, preferably with Indian cuisine knowledge
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be legally eligible to work in Al Ahmadi with proper documentation
