Hotel Sales Manager - Khasab, Oman

A reputable hotel in Khasab, Oman is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team. This position is open to both Africans and foreigners, with a preference for English speaking candidates. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy rates. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in hotel sales, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of meeting sales targets. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1800/month. Accommodation is not provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new customers and maintain existing ones
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify potential business opportunities
- Build strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service
- Conduct site visits and attend trade shows and events to promote the hotel
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, reservations, and operations to ensure smooth operations
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review
- Train and supervise the sales team to achieve their targets

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Hotel Sales Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Familiarity with market trends and competitor analysis
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
