Head Chef

We are currently in search of a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team at our restaurant in Utena. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, from menu planning to food preparation. You will also manage and train our kitchen staff, ensuring the highest quality of dishes are served to our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Create menus that align with our restaurant's concept and vision
- Prepare and cook delicious meals in a timely manner
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they follow proper food safety and hygiene standards
- Oversee inventory management, ordering ingredients and supplies as needed
- Collaborate with management on budgeting and cost control measures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Ensure all dishes are plated attractively and presented according to company standards
- Conduct regular quality checks on food to ensure freshness and taste

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role, preferably in a high-end restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, including international cuisines
- Ability to create innovative menus that cater to diverse tastes while staying true to the restaurant's concept
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of food cost control measures
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or similar field is preferred
Salary: $1800 per month
Location: Utena, Lithuania
