Commercial Architect


We are hiring a talented Commercial Architect to join our team in Porto. As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings such as offices, retail spaces, and warehouses. Your role will involve collaborating with clients to understand their needs and creating functional and aesthetically pleasing designs that meet their requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their commercial building needs and budget
- Develop design concepts and present them to clients
- Create detailed drawings and blueprints using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Ensure all designs comply with building codes, regulations, and zoning laws
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that designs are feasible
- Oversee the construction process to ensure that the project is being executed according to the design plans
- Address any issues or challenges that arise during construction
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to the design if needed
- Review final construction plans for accuracy and completeness before submitting them for approval

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial architecture
- Proficient in CAD software and other relevant design tools
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and zoning laws
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, engineers, etc.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position with a salary of $1300 per month. The working hours will be flexible depending on project deadlines. The successful candidate must have their own visa for working in Porto.
