QA Engineer

The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. They will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve any issues, as well as create and execute test plans and cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of QA methodologies and processes, as well as experience with automated testing tools. This position is located in Akron, Ohio, and salary is $1500 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements
- Create test plans and cases based on requirements
- Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure proper functionality
- Report bugs and issues to the development team
- Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Conduct regression testing to ensure previous defects have been fixed
- Continuously improve testing processes and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in QA engineering
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Cucumber
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
- Familiarity with database management systems
