Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Chef to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, managing a team of chefs and ensuring the quality and consistency of all dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement seasonal menus, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and manage a team of chefs, ensuring high standards of food quality and service
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to maintain stock levels
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment according to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new concepts and improve existing ones
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard, both in taste and presentation
- Conduct regular food cost analysis to maintain profitability without compromising on quality
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred but not required
- Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Creative approach to menu development with a focus on using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and professionalism
- Fluent in English (French language skills would be an asset)
- Must be willing to relocate to Lusail, Qatar
Salary: 1200$ per month (tax-free)
