Barista - Coffee Shop (Nakuru, Kenya)



Our busy coffee shop in Nakuru, Kenya is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious and high-quality beverages for our customers while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks
- Ensure the quality and consistency of all beverages by following recipes and maintaining high standards of presentation
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and handling payments accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times to ensure health and safety standards are met
- Restock supplies as needed to keep up with demand during busy periods
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner to build relationships and promote our products
- Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain freshness and quality of ingredients

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers from diverse backgrounds
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods
- Willingness to learn about our products and continuously improve your skills as a Barista
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this position.

Location:
This position is located in Nakuru, Kenya. We welcome candidates from all nationalities who are legally allowed to work in Kenya.
