Nurse - Patient Care Coordinator


We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse - Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As a Nurse - Patient Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the care of patients under the direction of a physician or healthcare provider.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive care plans for patients
- Monitor and document patient progress, including vital signs, medication administration, and any changes in condition
- Communicate patient updates to the healthcare team and family members
- Provide education to patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques
- Assist with procedures and treatments as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of all medical information
- Conduct health screenings, assessments, and immunizations as directed by healthcare provider
- Follow infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
- Provide emotional support to patients during their recovery process

Requirements:
- Valid nursing license in the state of Ohio
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical setting
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Empathetic and compassionate approach towards patient care
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1100 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Akron, Ohio. Candidates must be willing to relocate if not currently residing in the area.

Preference:
Preference will be given to candidates who are Kenyan nationals or hold a biometric passport. However, all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of nationality.
